I run a G4 tower with 2 x 1GB CPUs on OS10.4.8, two internal Hard Drives, external Firewire HD, phone answering system, scanner, printer, and lots of "classic" and OSX apps that ought to cause big problems. They don't. So it ain't Emailer to blame.
