As you know, I have migrated to an OS X machine, and it has Classic installed. I copied my entire Claris Emailer folder into the "Applications (MacOS 9)" folder. When I double-click on it, Classic seems to start normally (not that I would know what "normal" looks like), but then I get an error message which reads: "Claris Emailer could not open the required file "Connections" because and unknown error (-5000) occurred. Press OK to quit."

The Connections file could be corrupt. Possibly it failed to copy correctly.

You can find that file in the Emailer Files folder. Try replacing it with a fresh copy off your old install. If that fails, you can always try doing a completely new install of Emailer, and then swap in your Mail Database and Mail Index files (your accounts are stored in those files), and if you have any additional applescripts move those over, and if you use signatures, move your signatures file over.
