Is this just winding on a bobbin or is it more involved? I would think you need a dancer wheel to adjust the speed to accommodate variations in filament diameter as you wind. This could be feed back to EMC (I think off the top of my head) to adjust the spindle. The next thing I see is if you want constant speed a loop that as you reach the end of each layer to lower the rpm or something like that... or am I way off base?
