Sorry for the delay in replying, I have been on a boat, with no internet.

The first problem I notice with your HAL file is that stepgen.2 has no
setup definitions, nor is is enabled. You need to copy the stepgen.3
definition block, but referring to stepgen.2 (it can still read values
from the [AXIS_3] section of the INI file.)

You might need a dummy [AXIS_2] section in the INI file, but it can
probably be empty.

You might be able to use AXES=3 / COORDINATES=XZA, but then you need
to put the data in [AXIS_2] and modify the HAL file to not try to read
from [AXIS_3]
