Dan Quayle ..... how infrequently someone quotes him!  I'm impressed 
that you are even aware of him.   :-)

I live 40 miles from his hometown where he went to high school and the 
museum that is named after him ( see link ).   I never never been to the 
museum, probably never will, and I can spell potato without an "e" at 
the end.  :-)

For some reason that I cannot explain; Many people in Huntington are 
quite sure that they are superior to everyone else on the planet.
So Dan Quayle went to school in the proper location to learn the fine 
art of grandstanding.

Ironically, Huntington is in the middle of nowhere Indiana.  Even the 
major local state road (9) bypasses the city and the city population has 
dropped over the last 10 years.    Dan Quayle no longer lives there.
I drive by Huntington a couple of times per month via the bypass.   :-)
