;-)  I was only suggesting developing some sketches to help us talk 
about the issues in a realistic way.

that is exactly what I had in mind.

the stuff people deal with in just in time job shop models is probably 
relevant.  If you find any miniworld models let us know.

always nice.  I have a buddy that I might be able to hit up also who 
wrote an optimizing sql compiler back in the day, and programs weird 
stuff now using mathematica and other interesting tools.
