My mockup is nice, and is good and complete except I haven't shelled out the bucks to get my own 7i30/5i20 to use on it permanently (it was built with that driver board in mind.) Last time I borrowed jepler's off his small mill. It has two adjacent moving delrin blocks on acme screws and drill rod, with home switches mounted in slots for adjustment, and encoders with index on the motors. It also has two dial indicators at the business end so you can see the exact alignment. It would be trivial to cut slots for spaghetti and I think that's a great idea. If I/we can't get slaved joints working at fest, I would be pretty tempted to send it home with anyone who was interested in working on it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Try New Relic Now & We'll Send You this Cool Shirt New Relic is the only SaaS-based application performance monitoring service that delivers powerful full stack analytics.
