A partial(?) solution to this is to not allow any single joint that is homing simultaneously with another joint to move on through the state-machine until all other simultaneously-homing joints have reached the same point. This has at least been experimented with, but I don't recall what the final conclusion was: http://www.linuxcnc.org/index.php/english/forum/49-basic-configuration/27724-homing-a-dual-motor-for-one-axis-gantry-machine?start=20#46434 -- atp If you can't fix it, you don't own it. http://www.ifixit.com/Manifesto ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming!
