There are **NO** unexpected delays, you can run the latency 
test for hours, it is quite good, in the 10-20 us range 
worst case.

Run a TASK at 200KHz?  You want to schedule an RT task every 
5 us? What do you need that for?
Generally, we run the servo thread at 1 ms, and for 
soft-stepping with the PRU, that runs it's own thread 
independent of the ARM RT scheduler.  It is basically doing 
the work of the FPGA step generator boards on the X-86 
version of LinuxCNC.
