With CI/CD, can't you have it do a `runtests` in a run-in-place environment? I 
could also write a simple RTAI test program (even more simple than the 
testsuite/built-in latency test) that'll just load and exit.

So, if I understood correctly, except for *testing* RTAI builds which
need loading/unloading kernel modules, we could have a full GH
workflow up to repository hosting :)
This may not have all the bells and whistles of other integrated
scenarios, but may surely be the most straightforward to implement.
