No, unforch, I haven't had a backup since those 2 2t seagates died a
week apart
It doesn't have to be a full system backup. Too late now, but before
hacking on your config you could just have zipped up a copy of the
config folder so that there was a way to revert back.
I finally got all the names right so it runs again. And copied the
script mentioned on page 522 of the docs.pdf from the git repo image on
the pi to the go704. Getting the names sorted restored all the PIDgains
etc. So it looks like it might be able to home. But I'm not running the
script until I'm at the machine. More when I've had time to play.
Finally, trying to print just those 5 or 6 pages from the Documentation
pdf, hows that despite they're starting with page 1, by page 519 the
selector is off about 70 pages, I finally had to print from 550 to 600
to get pages 519-522 to take to the garage. That of course is not our
problem but is okulars problem. FWIW, it did work correctly nearly a
year ago.
