Chuck & PSNet...

Here's more sources for information on the subject of EM fields vs.
humans...

The classic book is: 'The Great Power-Line Cover-Up' subtitled 'How
the Utilities and the Government are Trying to Hide the Cancer Hazards
Posed by Electromagnetic Fields' by Paul Brodeur, 1993, Little, Brown & Co.

'Questions and Answers about EMF; Electric and Magnetic Fields
Associated with the Use of Electric Power' Jan 1995 National Institute of
Environmental Health Sciences and US Dept of Energy. pub no. DOE/EE-0040
available (?still?) from the Supt of Documents, US Gov't Printing Office,
Wash, DC, 202/512-1800. Contains a fairly good bibliography.

'EMF, Scientific & Legal Aspects', 1993, Shaw, Pittman, Potts &
Trowbridge, Wash, DC, 202/663-8000.

'The EMF Controversy & Reducing Exposure from Magnetic Fields',
White, Barge, George & Riley, 1993, Interference Control Tech, Inc
publisher, Gainesville, VA, 703/347-0030.

'Magnetically Induced Currents in the Human Body', Baraton &
Hutzler, EDF, 1995, IEC, Geneva publ. +4/122/919-0211

additionally, Bonneville Power, here in the US Pacific Northwest
has done ongoing studies regarding the effects of power EMF on organisms
and has published a review of their work from time to time... I don't have
a current one to give you a better reference.

Even tho more data is published from time to time, there doesn't
seem to be clear, unrefutable evidence that there is or is not a link
between the EMF and human illness... so the controversy will continue to
rage...
