Pity one cannot prove a negative.
I've seen doubts expressed about the danger of emissions 
from computer screens, as well as the power line/electric
blanket and cellphone 'hazards' discussed in this thread.
In no case was a cause-and-effect relationship proven. But
no one can absolutely demonstrate that a low-level 
causal effect did NOT exist. And the 'preventive' measures
(such as using twisted pairs in electric blankets, and
metallic screens in front of monitors) not only cannot be
shown as reducing whatever 'risk' there might be, but tend
to perpetuate the myth: if there was no problem, why did
they bother to take action?
