Try the following sites. One mentions telecom. I found no references
to typical safety/EMC requirements for ITE, only tariff requirements. We
market PC printers in brazil, and I know of no product safety certifications
taking place. Argentina DOES require certification to IEC 60950, with a
CB Test Report as acceptable "proof".

Subject: RE: Brazilian requirements

If you can find these please include the ITE applicable standards or source
as the same problem exist with them. I have spent a considerable amount of
time looking for English translations in the ITE arena to no avail.

Thank you for any and all assistance in advance.

Subject: Brazilian requirements

Group,

Could you advise me on the Brazilian telecom requirements for interfaces to
be connected to the analog PSTN?
I was not able to find any information on this subject in English.

Thank you in advance.
