A UL Recognized Component does not comply with all of > the applicable > requirements. That is why they have Conditions of Acceptability. This is not entirely true. There are components in product categories for which there is no comparable Listing category. Plastics, printed wiring boards and related categories, insulation systems, and others. All will have Conditions of Acceptability placed on their use, but the individual Recognitions for these components may well have met all the applicable requirements in the relevant standard identified by UL as appropriate for the product; some may not. In any case, the Cs of A are important for any component and should be reviewed. A good vendor will always willingly provide them. > deletia < > Ned Devine Regards, Peter L.
