This is not entirely true.  There are components in product categories for
which there is no comparable Listing category.  Plastics, printed wiring
boards and related categories, insulation systems, and others.  All will
have Conditions of Acceptability placed on their use, but the individual
Recognitions for these components may well have met all the applicable
requirements in the relevant standard identified by UL as appropriate for
the product; some may not.  In any case, the Cs of A are important for any
component and should be reviewed.  A good vendor will always willingly
provide them.
