Especially, given that most protocols like Sonet, etc do error checking and re-transmit data anyway. If you running video you could notice a glitch - maybe, but the rest of the stuff is going to be pretty much transparent and is no service affecting. (Unless it takes the link down and that would take several seconds for it to re-establish and some routing information may have to be re-learned). Gary
