I read in !emc-pstc that [email protected] wrote (in <[email protected]>) about 'Existing EN50082-1 approved products', on Thu, 14 Feb 2002: >So far everyone has supported >my position, that re-test is required and a declaration to EN50082-1 is no >longer valid.
This does NOT apply to product that the manufacturer has released into the supply chain on or before the deadline date. 'Release into the supply chain' has been interpreted that the manufacturer has no immediate contact with the product, i.e. it is not in a distribution outlet or storage under his control. -- Regards, John Woodgate, OOO - Own Opinions Only. http://www.jmwa.demon.co.uk After swimming across the Hellespont, I felt like a Hero.
