Make sure you have the latest information on this. The original standard
was defective in several respects and a lot of new work was done on the
verification devices and procedures. This is being incorporated in a
full revision, for which the 1CD has been issued a long time ago:

The 2CD is scheduled for June 2002; the revision is not without
controversy.
Incidentally, you can get all this information from the *public* part of

But the site isn't the easiest (or the most difficult) to navigate.
