KC Chan, You can use 863 MHz for certain periodic operation types of transmitter under Part 15.231, or under Part 15.209 of the FCC Rules.

Look like we can make use of FCC part 15.231, however we were told that it is not allowed to use 863MHz in US because some mobile phones system are using around this frequency band. Does anyone has any idea if really that use of 863MHz is not allowed for low power device?
