Amund - VW-1 is the least severe of the three, but is generally a good choice for internal wiring of products. FT6 corresponds to a plenum rating and will be roughly equivalent to a UL 910 evaluated wire or cable. In reviewing UL's on-line standards catalog and searching their Guide Cards, it appears UL 910 may have been withdrawn. I have not confirmed this, but you may wish to keep this in mind when creating your specification. In UL's Guide Cards, NFPA 262 is still referred to for plenum rated cables, where UL 910 has been deleted. Unless the product or cable will be installed in an air handling space, FT6 and UL 910 would probably 'overspec' the cable. Regards, Peter L.
