First convert the limit in Volts to micro Volts, then simply take the log of that number and multiply by 20.
Example: 1) to convert 1 Volt into dBuV 2) 1 Volt = 1,000,000uV 3) 20log 1,000,000 = 120dBuV To convert dBuv into Volts just work backwards. Divide 120(dBuV) by 20 (= 6) and take the antilog of that ( = 1Volt). My problem is that immunity test levels in EN 55020 is in dB(uV/m) and EN 61000-4-3 is in v/m. How do I convert ?
