We had the old Schaffner NSG 432 which is not a very good gun and finally last
year I obtained the budget to purchase a new one. I demoed several models
including the new Schaffner, Keytek, Haefley, NoiseKen, and EM Test. The
decision was taken to purchase the EM Test (division of Amplifier Research).
The gun is easy to use, produces very repeatable waveforms, and is available
for a great price.
The other guns were good too, particularly the NoiseKen but overall the EM
Test was the best value in our opinion.

We have both the Keytek MiniZap and the Schaffner NSG435
I find the Keytek slightly easier to use. However my equipment is more
sensative to the Schaffner ESD Pulse. So I prefer to test with the Schaffner.
YMMV

Subject: ESD test system
I am purchasing an ESD gun and am considering the following products:
Haefely PESD 1610
HV Technologies ESD3000DM1
Thermo Keytek MZ-15/EC
I would appreciate all critiques on these products.
