Brian,

I've used the Haefely and the Keytek systems you mention.  For ease of
handling, the Mini-Zap wins, but if you need very high voltages the Haefely
has more capability.  Personally I like the Schaffner 435 better than either
one.  It is lighter weight, more comfortable to hold, swappable battery
packs, internal electronic polarity switch and presetable discharge counter.
I particularly disliked having to plug and unplug things to change polarity.
