Dear friends, Is there a standard one should follow in terms of defintions provided in an instruction manual for the terms NOTE, CAUTION and WARNING? I have an ISO standard but does not contain any definitions. I have located IEEE Std 1063-2001 for software manuals and MIL-STD-38784, DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE STANDARD PRACTICE FOR MANUALS, TECHNICAL: GENERAL STYLE AND FORMAT REQUIREMENTS. I'm including the definitions that appear in each of these different sources at the end of this message. Thanks for any help you can provide me.
