Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone could direct me to a reference or standard that
specifies the dc polarity symbol that you find on ac to dc power adaptors used
for laptop computers. This is the symbol that has a positive symbol on one
side and a negative symbol on the other, both in circles, with a circle inside
a C between the two polarity circles. The C is connected to one of the
polarity circles and the circle inside the C is connected to other polarity
circle. I can't find a reference to this symbol in IEC 60417, unless my copy
is too old to have it.

Any help is appreciated.

Best regards,
Ron Wellman
