Hmmmmm... all good answers, but I interpreted the question to mean the
highest frequency generated on purpose with the result expected, such
as a very high frequency oscillator. Any answers on this?

At the rate of increasing speed in circuits, how long do you think it
will take before circuits start to glow? That will make
troubleshooting easier! :-)
