Hi Michal

In § 4.3 you can read that there are an exclusion band defined in the product
specific standard. This exclusion band gives the transmitter a higher limit
than the 37dBuV/m, depending of the type of SRD you have. In the same way the
receiver is protected against RF immunity testing by an exclusion band.

Emne: Radiated emission testing acc. to ETSI EN 301 489

Hello!

I have some question. I test portable RF door bell for radiated emission
30-1000MHz according to ETSI EN 301 489-1/3. For all range emission is low,
with the exception of 433MHz (only then I push the button on transmitter, the
bell is ringing and then emission is for 4-5s is about 60dBuV/m). How should I
qualify this? Limit is 37dBuV/m. Maybe I shouldn’t test the transmitter,
only receiver? Is anywhere in this standard written that transmitter shouldn't
be tested?

Thank you

                                   Michal
