EC Declaration of Conformity is not for the end user, it is for the authorities. By including all kind of "unnecessary" information in this legal document, we may unintentionally create a situation in which the end user starts demanding more information to be included in it. Personally, I do not want to see DoC to be gradually "converted" to a test report.
