How far apart must two planes, within a PCB be apart to safely sustain 2500VAC/1 min or 3600VAC/1min between them? I am designing to IEC61010-1 and this topic is not detailed so I am looking for practical references. If there are some related standards that would be good too. The PCB in question is .062" thick with 4 layers, 2 are inner layers. Also are there some pre-preg matterials that work better than others and still maintain a 130C temp rating? I have seen some thick cores of .048" leaving only .0005" for pre-preg. What are the possible/practical stack up thicknesses? THANKS in advance! If you'd please also cc my work that would be appreciated since I must get this list at home due to the IT group at work.
