Can anyone advise if professional grade condenser microphones (cable not
wireless) are required to comply with EMC emission requirements in Europe
and the USA considering they typically do not contain any clock or
oscillators etc.

For Europe at least, I suspect many companies test to EN 55103-1.  Even
though these devices do typically incorporate a linear amplifier that
contains, what may be termed by some, "active" components there are still no
clocks or oscillators.  Would it be fair to assume therefore, that for these
devices, because they do not include any clocks or oscillators, the emission
testing is not necessary.
