>From a practical standpoint, most of the existing SAR measurement systems
use a broadband isotropic probe of some sort, so summing the components of
the various transmitters is pretty easy.  I agree with the assessment that
if all sources can radiate simultaneously, then it should be tested that
way.  Since the exposure is a time dependent integral, the duty cycle of
each of the sources will probably need to be taken into account.  My company
doesn't perform SAR testing, so there are certainly more experienced voices
out there that can contribute on this.
