A Basic IEC Standard referenced in a harmonized Product Standard is undated and the verbiage reads "For a non-specific reference, the latest version applies." Question - when the Basic Standard is indicated as published on the IEC website, is this the effective date for use to demonstrate compliance for the Product Standard immediately? Or is there some sort of transition time that the previous standard can be used to demonstrate compliance? Cheers William
