This topic has come up regarding painting the inside of a plastic housing with
something like Electrodag550

It claims 60 dB (frequency range is not specified) with a 0.002 minimum
application thickness.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Any long term durability issues?

There's a company called Methode that makes a metallized, heat shrink tubing.

True, it's not going to replace case internal conductive surfaces, but it
might be of some help to you.
