Dear Forum members.

We have been looking at the new EMC Directive and how it will affect the
company. The one change that could have expensive implications is under :

Part 3 - of the EMC Regulations - General Requirements - Apparatus - Page 7

"Clause 19 (part 7) - The manufacturer shall take all measures necessary to
ensure that the apparatus shall be manufactured in accordance with the
technical documentation referred to in paragraph (5) and with the provisions
of these Regulations that apply to it."

In your view what are the practical implications of this statement ?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Ian White
(Project Engineer - Electronics)
