Question 1: Does an enclosure need to be CE marked for the EU market? My employer sells enclosures for lighting modules. For enclosure alone (such as the one at <http://www.crestron.com/products/show_ roducts.asp?type=commercial&cat=14&subcat=1072&id=1063> http://www.crestron.com/products/show_p oducts.asp?type=commercial&cat=14&subcat=1072&id=1063), I cannot tell which Directive an enclosure applies to from the list of New Approach directives <http://ec.europa.eu/enterprise/newapp oach/standardization/harmstds/reflist.html> http://ec.europa.eu/enterprise/newappro ch/standardization/harmstds/reflist.html ). Question 2: What is the safety standard applying to a dimmer module like the one at <http://www.crestron.com/products/show_ roducts.asp?type=commercial&cat=14&subcat=1007&id=1077> http://www.crestron.com/products/show_p oducts.asp?type=commercial&cat=14&subcat=1007&id=1077? I assume (please correct me if I am wrong) EN55015 and EN61547 are the EMC test standards. Question 3: IF a CE mark applies to an enclosure from Question 1 and a lighting module is CE marked, can I say the lighting module(s) in an enclosure is CE marked ( i.e., CE+CE=CE?). Question 4: Does everything selling to the Europe needs CE marked? Thank you very much for your time and look forward to your help.
