In February of this year there was an exchange of letters between the US (FCC) and Japan (VCCI) on the mutual acceptance of EMC test reports by accredited test facilities. If I am reading the letter from the VCCI correctly, I believe that the US laboratories now have to join the VCCI and register their sites with the VCCI to gain acceptance. Does anyone know if this is correct? I have an inquiry into the FCC but I think it involves too many Governmental links to quickly get an answer.
