Derek,
Neil offers some sound advice. Making a broad statement saying that
accredited labs cost more and don't understand electronics behavior is
insulting. I also do not appreciate you responding to the list promoting
your soon to be up and running CISPR 25 lab. I wish all responders would
reply only to the list members directly. This is pet peeve of mine, that
hopefully some day will be resolved. (list administrators, I understand the
rules, so you don't have to send me an email on how this is ok, I get it, it
doesn't mean I have to like it).
By the way, we do not offer automotive testing, but are accredited
by A2LA.

to a degree, but it depends what Neven's looking for.
The big 3 sites address labs that are authorized to do their testing. Nevens
comment included useful people to help, implying engineering work was likely
needed. In the latter case, accredited labs are not usually the best place
to go, they are set up more for compliance work: and cost $$$ more. It is
often better to go to a lower cost dedicated engineering lab where folks
that really understand electronics behavior exist. Few compliance labs have
those folks.
