Don, After a great deal of research into this law I located on the Energy Star website a list of compliant power supplies by manufacturer, Go to the energy star website and over on the Right hand side is the list of compliant power supplies which includes the star-III and Star IV ratings. Efficiency level IV is required July of this year; the bill was signed into law in December, providing only a 6 month transition period. A number of power supply manufacturers for mid range supplies (50W) seem to be challenged to meet the standby limit. Would anyone care to identify vendors that they have had success with in providing level IV compliant mid range supplies?
