PSNet folks,

All this discussion points clearly to the effort to the need to bring
together the safety requirements for consumer and commercial electronic
equipment; as is coming into the new Hazard Based standard prEN 62368. The
same components and design techniques are used in either case.

From the point of view of providing a safe product, the use of either IEC
60065 or IEC 60950 would provide an adequate level of protection - especially
since there has been ongoing work to harmonize them to a large degree.

There is always a good discussion here - on any subject.
