Several years ago I had a similar issue: The table height was measured by (a well-respected) auditor and deemed to be 79.5cm, not 80cm. Several discussions followed regarding the accuracy/traceability of the auditor’s tape measure, validity of the deficiency etc. Initially I rejected the deficiency but after time just added a 0.5cm board to the table. When in business to make money it’s often easier and quicker to fix the perceived problem than to argue against it.
