Actually it is the best method to use for 61000 – 4 – 3. Leveling with modulation off does take more time, but only by a bit (a couple of seconds per step). The advantage is a more accurate leveling regardless of your modulation For medical devices where the modulation is at 2 Hz, it is almost impossible for a power meter to actually level correctly during the playback process.
