Immediately above the piece you quoted is: QUOTE BSI is making its national Drafts for Public Comment (DPCs) available through the Draft Review system. A selected number of drafts for national standards (BS only) will be available via our new easy to use website. You will be able to read the full draft clause by clause and leave comments and suggestions about its content which we may use in the final British Standard. Please visit our site at http://bsigroup.com/drafts <http://bsigroup.com/drafts> . ENDQUOTE BSI won't give free downloads, because it would encourage people to use the draft instead of the (possibly very different) standard. Also, BSI can't give away documents from IEC etc. Although the on-screen version is less easy to use (for me, anyway), it IS free. However, I wasn't aware that only national standards are to be available in that form. Maybe if the facility proves useful and popular ... it will be discontinued. (;-) -- OOO - Own Opinions Only.
