Hi Aboo,

 

For Hong Kong, the certification is not mandatory. It is difficult to find any
RF device that needs to have a formal certification, except, I believe
broadcast transmitters and perhaps cell base stations.

 

I copy Mr. Lawrence Kwan who is with Hong Kong OFTA.

 

There are certification bodies that can assess your device to the requirements
as Hong Kong and the US have an MRA under the APEC TEL arrangement.
