Our company wants to start making and testing a small pressure vessel (about the size of your fist) used in a piece of laboratory equipment. I’m not at all familiar with the rules and regulations regarding the design, manufacturing and testing of such vessels. I’m sure there are accreditations and certifications that must be had to make a product that can be shipped globally.
Can those of you with experience in this area please point me in the right direction? Is there a preferred safety or accreditation agency that can take us through the steps and teach us what we have to do? Is there a consultant to whom you would recommend? Any other suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you.
