Each NRTL can have there own rules. They own the program. OSHA ensures the program has the mandatory elements required by the federal regulations. Find another NRTL if you do like rules of there program.

On the Marking Plate Label in the vicinity of the NRTL Mark it is required to put the following text; Conforms to UL Std 61010-1 Certified to CAN/CSA Std 22.2 No.61010-1. A bit redundant to add yet another mark to the product for Canada. Is this a self declaration mark by the manufacturer that their product has been tested and complies with the requirements? And the statement in the manual similar to a declaration of conformity? Europe has been on US and Canada's case about not having a self declaration compliance path for products. Many 61010-1 products seem like good candidates for such a program. It would be nice if something like that existed. Has anyone else been required to do this doesn't seem very logical.
