Hi Doug:

Thanks for your support.

This listserver was formed by the founders of
the PSES and is now operated by the PSES. We
have about 1000 subscribers worldwide.

To encourage IEEE and PSES membership, the
PSES Board very briefly considered and quickly
rejected a suggestion to limit the listserver
to IEEE members only. So, as long as the PSES
exists, this listserver will be an open service
of the PSES.

I fully agree with you that if half or our
subscribers were members of the IEEE PSES,
then we would easily meet our goal.

So, if you are a fan of National Public Radio,
you know of their "beg-a-thon" appeals for
donations from those who listen to the stations.
Insofar as the listserver is concerned, we ask
the readers and users of this forum to join the
IEEE and PSES to keep this listserver on the
air as well as to support the ONLY organization
whose goal is to provide for the professional
growth of product safety professionals.

Best regards,
Rich
