Quality Regulatory Engineer
Reporting to Manager Quality Engineering
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Technical degree, preferably in engineering.
2. At least ten years work experience preferably in the following
areas:
3. 3 to 5 years in Quality, preferably compliance testing.
4. 3 to 5 years in regulatory compliance either from a medical
company or the government.
5. SPC background, preferably with Six Sigma Green Belt training.
6. Some supervisory background.
7. Exposed to working with International locations.
8. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
9. Computer literacy: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook email.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Research, educate and update the Timex Group of companies on
the worldwide regulatory compliance applicable to Timex products.
2. Work with government agencies, consultants and legal group to
actively solicit clarification and petition for amendments to regulations.
3. Work with Legal in defining and interpretation of regulations.
4. Establish programs with manufacturing/supplying locations for
compliance to regulations.
5. Monitor compliance program implementation.
6. Keeps master list of regulatory compliance.
7. Advises customers of compliance and/or issue compliance
certificates where needed.
8. Participate in new product development, qualification and
testing to ensure regulatory compliance is covered.
9. Ten percent overseas travel to manufacturing/supplying
locations.

Target Compensation $75-85k base salary + 8% annual bonus
