On rating labels for devices, is there a common nomenclature to distinguish if a multi voltage range device, such as a 115V/230V ac device, is auto-sensing requiring no user action or if it requires a manual operation such as changing voltage select switches or internal wiring?
I've seen on some products where it was rated something like, "115/230 V~ (autosensing)", or something like that. But I don't think the English working would be internationally recognized. Is there a symbol to term that is? Any suggestions?
