Dear All,

I have a question about insulation requirements of the EN61010:2010 standards
(clause 6).

Are the insulation requirements of EN61010 / IEC61010:2010 identical to those
found in the latest IEC60950 (2009 I believe, including all amendments)?

Basically I need to know if I use a third party certified power supply marked
to EN60950:2009, will it meet the insulation requirements of EN61010
(clearance, creepage, protective bonding...etc)

Maybe in a nutshell, I am wondering where the EN61010 insulation requirements
were derived from. Are they the same source as the EN60950 requiements.

Thanks,

Gary Darnel
