Hi all, I'm giving some serious thought to adding a rotary table to my minimill, which would be parallel to the existing x axis. So I guess that would be the A axis. I have a couple of questions that I didn't quickly (!) find answers to in the wiki etc. so here goes:
1. Does the AXIS interface have the ability to display such an axis? 2. Could someone point me toward a reference to g-code programming for a rotary axis? I suppose that I'd supply angular rather than linear values, like G0 A90 instead of G0 x3.14, but I'd like a little bit more to go on before I hack this thing together! thanks, Pat ps - ray, I'm going to try and use your description of adding the appropriate hal signals, etc. and cross my fingers.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
